CEILS collaborates with several different divisions, offices, and departments across UCLA. These collaborations allow for the development of more holistic strategies to addressing learning outcomes and supporting teaching and learning with benefits for all local partners. CEILS offers expertise with assessment, the grant writing and submission process, and organizing events such as workshops and conferences.
National
CEILS is one of many centers across the United States focused on supporting teaching, learning, and education research in the sciences. National collaborations of these centers support the development and knowledge transfer of best practices and provide and infrastructure for research, training, and professional development opportunities through national events and conferences. The challenges and barriers facing students and colleges around student retention in the sciences and equity in education access are not unique to UCLA. These national networks work collaboratively to gather data, implement evidence-based recommendations, and measure gains.
